HitCheck, the mobile app that clinicians and athletic trainers utilize to track athletes’ unique brain performance, announced that it is the preferred cognitive assessment tool for Premier Physical Therapy & Sports Performance (Premier PT) and its clients.
Premier PT serves patients in all three counties of Delaware. It also provides athletic training to the jockeys at Delaware Park, as well as the athletes at Hodgson High School, St. Georges Technical High School, Middletown High School, Appoquinimink High School, Odessa High School, Caesar Rodney High School, Polytech High School, Cape Henlopen High School, and for all activities and tournaments at the DE Turf in Frederica.
“Concussions are not something you can take an X-ray for, there is no easily visible way to diagnose what damage may be done. HitCheck is a convenient tool to have a baseline on a player’s normal brain activity so that we can retest them when an injury occurs. It is another tool in our tool belt to help make that decision that they are concussed,” said Mandy Minutola LAT ATC ITAT, who is the Director of Athletic Training at Premier PT.
HitCheck proudly serves an extensive list of top organizations, such as the U.S. Air Force, Stanford University, University of Portland, Play USA Rugby, Baylor Scott & White Health, Hamilton Health Care System, American Youth Football, Youth Sports Nevada, and NorCal Youth Football & Cheer. The company also has top medical and athletic advisors like Davante Adams, Rick Mirer, Junior Bryant, Mike Mauti, and Ajay Nwosu.
